Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Seco to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kutlay Adem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Gecionis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of AnkaraGücü SK booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Berceanu came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Jaime Cazalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Gecionis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in AnkaraGücü SK's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Gecionis came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mircea Berceanu in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arturo Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Mircea Berceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustafa Haydar Saygur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Mircea Berceanu made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Gecionis having to interfere. With his leg Edward Gecionis managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kutlay Adem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. When Wilfried Walder fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AnkaraGücü SK's protests and gave Wilfried Walder a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes AnkaraGücü SK got a freekick which was hit by Wilfried Walder. Francisco Seco in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Mircea Berceanu took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of AnkaraGücü SK booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Edward Gecionis in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AnkaraGücü SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
