Abdi Mehmet Eygül made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 9th minute of play. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İlmi Eker's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Bombacı Mülayim's Abdi Mehmet Eygül played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdi Mehmet Eygül narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mecnun Kamil got free with Rolando Noboa in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdi Mehmet Eygül showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Peru's Joaquin Prats to fire away a dangerous shot which Abdi Mehmet Eygül despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bombacı Mülayim's goalkeeper Abdi Mehmet Eygül, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdi Mehmet Eygül was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Abdi Mehmet Eygül showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 32nd minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomil Wiatrak in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdi Mehmet Eygül saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luz Tejedor struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Abdi Mehmet Eygül didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Abdi Mehmet Eygül took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mecnun Kamil to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Ludomil Wiatrak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bombacı Mülayim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. 52 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdi Mehmet Eygül narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 54th minute. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute, Eliseo Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Bombacı Mülayim's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Abdi Mehmet Eygül reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdi Mehmet Eygül saved Bombacı Mülayim from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Abdi Mehmet Eygül in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Abdi Mehmet Eygül made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 89th minute. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
