Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erim Beşer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 7th minute Karl-Michael Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erim Beşer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when MR7 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Fredriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Benito Raphael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erim Beşer, 2-0. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Erim Beşer made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Andor Szűcs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 26th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erim Beşer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MR7's Erim Beşer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save MR7 from getting a goal against them. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Fredriksson in the 28th minute of play. MR7 were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Bednarek took the corner. 33 minutes into the game, MR7's Karl-Michael Fredriksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Karl-Michael Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Karl-Michael Fredriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oteng Suebu during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of MR7:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. After the first half MR7 were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Andor Szűcs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Venegas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Jan Bednarek's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Jan Bednarek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MR7's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Bednarek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Fredriksson in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute, José Paulo Queirós had to leave the field with a concussion. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a MR7's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jan Bednarek managed to get in a good position for a shot. MR7's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Bednarek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa.
