A collision led to Norrlands Athen getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jacinto da Silveira hit a great ball. Norrlands Athen made a substitution. Calle Bergfelt replaced Urbano Fidencio. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Hermansson in the 70th minute of play. Filcho Slivkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Gilbert Hermansson sent off a good shot on target. Safet Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 80th minute of the match. Chile's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Gilbert Hermansson scored to the left of an out of position Thiago Pliego, making the score, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Hermansson got free with Thiago Pliego in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gilbert Hermansson sent off a good shot on target. Norrlands Athen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
