Skellerup FC's Tiberiu Ruşdea managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Diego Bradley in the 24 minute of the game. Kenn Kuberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jenson Smith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenn Kuberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Indiana Jones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Rogers in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenn Kuberg saved Skellerup FC from getting behind. The USA fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when USA's Cassius Byrne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Skellerup FC made a substitution. Oluf Lebro replaced Patrick Viera. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stefan-Benjamin Hula made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan-Benjamin Hula came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenn Kuberg made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Raphael Moore in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Skellerup FC's Tiberiu Ruşdea. A collision led to Skellerup FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tiberiu Ruşdea hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, Oluf Lebro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. USA played a much better game than Skellerup FC and deserved their victory. The Skellerup FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
