Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 minutes, Ernst Vestlund made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th match minute, White StarZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordi Peñaranda to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 16 minutes, Ernst Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. White StarZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernst Vestlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Ernst Vestlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The White StarZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. White StarZ's Harald Helmfelt got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of White StarZ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aipytos Vardoulakis in the 26th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Ernst Vestlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. When Aaron Alcocer fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Aaron Alcocer a yellow card for diving instead. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, White StarZ's Aipytos Vardoulakis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Vestlund in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 39th minute. Ernst Vestlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Aipytos Vardoulakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 48 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aipytos Vardoulakis who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Ernst Vestlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. White StarZ made a substitution. Carlos Macias replaced Inocencio Nazario.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernst Vestlund made a kick off. Costa Rica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fausto Bertol 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jordi Peñaranda went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernst Vestlund showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 66 minute of play. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of White StarZ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ernst Vestlund sent off a good shot on target. When Ernst Vestlund came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the White StarZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Vestlund couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as White StarZ's Jordi Peñaranda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-11 after 87 minutes of play. In the 90th minute of the match, Ernst Vestlund got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ernst Vestlund had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 92 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-12 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kosin Marianto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 99 minutes, Ernst Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
