Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mircea Berceanu struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AnkaraGücü SK. Isidoro Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edward Gecionis having to make a save. In the 38th minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edward Gecionis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 40 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. In the 44th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Gecionis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind AnkaraGücü SK's goalkeeper Edward Gecionis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Panama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AnkaraGücü SK were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mircea Berceanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Kutlay Adem scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Berceanu in the 56th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when 蔡锋卫 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, AnkaraGücü SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Edward Gecionis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, AnkaraGücü SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Kjellbom to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mircea Berceanu during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AnkaraGücü SK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mircea Berceanu hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mircea Berceanu in the 77th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Marcos Cotilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by AnkaraGücü SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. Abraham Alguacil made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that AnkaraGücü SK's Edward Gecionis managed to reach the ball for a save.
