When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes Victorica AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Locaio. After having played for 14 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcos Inge, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by 宋坤霖 in the 24th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Inge made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Luis Andino sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Marcos Inge managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pascual Locaio's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Locaio helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Victorica AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Locaio. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Victorica AFC's 宋坤霖 got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rdth minute of the game 宋坤霖 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Inge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho.

The supporters of Ecuador booed when Victorica AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Fresco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Victorica AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Marcos Inge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Victorica AFC defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Inge. The Victorica AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Inge should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when 宋坤霖 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
