With an extended leg and a bit of luck Friedel Aschwanden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Jürgen Rondinelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Jürgen Rondinelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Friedel Aschwanden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domenico Verna got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gordon Scenna struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aus Ende Vorbei. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Damian Wills kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Damian Wills capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Damian Wills really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Friedel Aschwanden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Abraham Pfenniger helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Aus Ende Vorbei getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Abraham Pfenniger hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Friedel Aschwanden. Aus Ende Vorbei's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Damian Wills sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aus Ende Vorbei's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
