After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 石常磊 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aírton Leite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 石常磊 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by 江苏YZJ联队's Aírton Leite. But to his dismay, Aírton Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 刘鹏洲 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, 江苏YZJ联队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 陆岚帆 to maneuver through the defense. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match 雷沙辰 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. 石常磊 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 石常磊 could save by the left post. In the 81st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 84 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 石常磊 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of the match. 石常磊 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
