Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. A sloppy throw-in by Isidoro Ramires in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristobal Estavan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11th play minutes Tadeo Jakobe shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 14th play minute Tadeo Jakobe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 2-0. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Tadeo Jakobe did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 24 minutes into the match. In the 32nd match minute, Newell´s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Jakobe to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Lecanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Tadeo Jakobe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newell´s's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Jakobe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Jakobe in the 52nd minute of the match. Fernan Crescencio scored 4-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Isidoro Ramires in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. After having played for 63 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Lecanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cristobal Estavan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Indiana Turban made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 76 minutes into the match, Newell´s's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Cristobal Estavan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeo Jakobe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute Tadeo Jakobe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Jakobe scored 6-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Newell´s players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
