Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Agustín Rossi came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 9th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 12th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Cisco. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agustín Rossi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Frontera AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Luca Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Agustín Rossi quite easily take care of the ball. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustín Rossi. Agustín Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 35th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustín Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute Naohiro Takahara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Agustín Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 51st minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Agustín Rossi to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Lain during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Frontera AFC! Agustín Rossi had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Frontera AFC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Frontera AFC defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustín Rossi. The Frontera AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustín Rossi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 81st minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Frontera AFC from getting a goal against them. Agustín Rossi made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Agustín Rossi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The supporters of Mexico booed when Frontera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Advíncula didn't get a good kick on the ball. Naohiro Takahara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Rossi having to interfere. Silvestre Cisco, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
