In the 10th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Herauso in the 14th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Club Atlético Belgrano's Lorenzo Clementi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Fulgencio Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the game Domingo Pedroso made a throw-in which Ermegildo Rolado played forward. 23 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Rolado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, Lorenzo Clementi made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Kutalp Tümerkan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Belgrano's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elano Pimenta came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Club Atlético Belgrano's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lorenzo Clementi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Herauso in the 36th minute of play. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Ermegildo Rolado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Clementi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Club Atlético Belgrano getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Domingo Pedroso hit a great ball. Elano Pimenta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 56th minute. 64 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Belgrano the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Urbano Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Pedroso made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ermegildo Rolado however managed to control. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes of play, Club Atlético Belgrano's Saul Filipo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Atlético Belgrano walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
