Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. A nice corner shot did that Axel Tasis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jesus Dolfo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Åke Aronsson got free with Benito Sanz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 18 minutes, Per-Åke Aronsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dåsens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Åke Aronsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Per-Åke Aronsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Abrahamsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Gunnar Abrahamsson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Dolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dåsens IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Aaron Alcocer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dåsens IF's Jesus Dolfo did a great save. The supporters of Dåsens IF booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Gunnar Abrahamsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 3-0. In the 38thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dåsens IF's Jesus Dolfo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Per Sandwall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Per Sandwall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Gunnar Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the game, one of Dåsens IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jesus Dolfo had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Tasis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of Dåsens IF booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Abrahamsson took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Gunnar Abrahamsson scored 5-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Sven-Edvin Isaksson fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dåsens IF's protests and gave Sven-Edvin Isaksson a yellow card for diving instead. Axel Tasis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Abrahamsson in the 86th minute of the match. Iustinian Costeiantu might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iustinian Costeiantu ran back to his position shaking his head. 98 minutes into the match, Gunnar Abrahamsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunnar Abrahamsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.
