Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Diego Tucci made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Carballal to maneuver through the defense. Frodo Moya took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 5th minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Tucci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Mazinger FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Francisco Seco scored to the left of an out of position Zdzislaw Golob, making the score, 1-0. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frodo Moya was slow to take the kick. During this time Mazinger FC's players had a chance to rest. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Tucci went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Diego Tucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frodo Moya in the 31st minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Diego Tucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Mazinger FC were awarded a corner. Frodo Moya went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Frodo Moya got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zdzislaw Golob made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. After 39 minutes of play, Mazinger FC's Diego Tucci made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Mazinger FC's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Golob came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Mazinger FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Tucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Zdzislaw Golob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 55th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Tucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Zdzislaw Golob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Mazinger FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Zdzislaw Golob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Mazinger FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Johnsson to maneuver through the defense. Henry Johnsson's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry Johnsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mazinger FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Henry Johnsson hit a great ball. Mazinger FC's Zdzislaw Golob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Mazinger FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Zdzislaw Golob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Golob having to interfere. Zdzislaw Golob stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Kevin Carballal charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Carballal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Kevin Carballal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Tucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zdzislaw Golob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Cazalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Golob having to interfere. Mazinger FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Uruguay's much stronger midfield.
