Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Jakob blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dominik Breckheimer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Arne Jakob made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 26 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Freestylers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Freestylers booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominik Breckheimer. Sebastian Latocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Efrain Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Efrain Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. If Arne Jakob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Arne Jakob kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Freestylers's Sebastian Schwaebe got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Freestylers's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Latocha came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Breckheimer came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 67th minute. Freestylers's Dominik Breckheimer got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Jakob in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Jakob came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Jakob in the 85th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Patrik Nagel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrik Nagel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Dirk Schlager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Dominik Breckheimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Freestylers were the better team. Freestylers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
