Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christos Perivolakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Skondras in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Dimitris Skondras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. After 26 minutes, Dimitris Skondras made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lv Hai Chong's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Dimitris Skondras could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. In the 60th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Perivolakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Lv Hai Chong notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. If Lv Hai Chong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Skondras in the 85th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Dimitris Skondras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitris Skondras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 89th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Dimitris Skondras sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Zinédine Papoutsiadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on MICE F.C.'s corner Iraklis Mortensøn fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Sanz quite easily take care of the ball. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MICE F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
