The crowd rose to their feet as Felix Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Selmo Illescas. That made the score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. With a little luck, demir idmanyurdu's Selmo Illescas got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Hami Eyüp came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, demir idmanyurdu's Ulvi Nizami got a free kick in the 95th minute. The demir idmanyurdu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
