In the 16th minute Sten Hydén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Salkvist in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Salkvist in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After taking down the ball on BK Gubbhöft's corner Ciro Incendio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Veronica got free with Julio Vera in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57thth minute of the game Ove Salkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Salkvist in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Jonasson came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. BK Gubbhöft's Agne Billing was substituted for Per Söderberg. Hans-Georg Luabunnum took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. BK Gubbhöft made a substitution. Bosse Bacon replaced Sten Hydén. When BK Gubbhöft's Fidel Veronica in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Jonasson was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans-Georg Luabunnum in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hans-Georg Luabunnum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute Hans-Georg Luabunnum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans-Georg Luabunnum received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Hans-Georg Luabunnum slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 94th minute. BK Gubbhöft's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
