The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Aniol Peña sped through Dunnottar Athletic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricky Hewitt. Gareth Cunningham hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Dunnottar Athletic's Ricky Hewitt got control of the ball when Aniol Peña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Logan Limond hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute of the match, Aniol Peña tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricky Hewitt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aniol Peña in the 25th minute of play forced Dunnottar Athletic's goalkeeper Ricky Hewitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Dunnottar Athletic defense, Aniol Peña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricky Hewitt. The Dunnottar Athletic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricky Hewitt should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aniol Peña in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricky Hewitt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cheng Hao Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Dunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's goal looked a bit too open when Gareth Cunningham came free, but Cheng Hao Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Dunnottar Athletic getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Logan Limond hit a great ball. Ricky Hewitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aniol Peña, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th match minute, Dunnottar Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Logan Limond to maneuver through the defense. Rafet Nesip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gareth Cunningham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. JEMBer UTara's Cheng Hao Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Dunn in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Dunnottar Athletic getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Logan Limond hit a great ball. Ricky Hewitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafet Nesip, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 56 minutes, Steven Dunn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dunnottar Athletic and the JEMBer UTara players grew even worse after the yellow card. Steven Dunn kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Dunnottar Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ter McGillivour to maneuver through the defense. After 60 minutes of play, JEMBer UTara's Rafet Nesip made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricky Hewitt was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Rafet Nesip had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricky Hewitt. Dunnottar Athletic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafet Nesip was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Ricky Hewitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafet Nesip, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Rafet Nesip notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Dunnottar Athletic's Ricky Hewitt. Ricky Hewitt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dunnottar Athletic's Larry Fair was substituted for Gareth Cunningham. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Rafet Nesip sped through Dunnottar Athletic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricky Hewitt. After 91 minutes of play, JEMBer UTara's Rafet Nesip made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricky Hewitt was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of JEMBer UTara booed when Dunnottar Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terence McLachlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Larry Fair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dunnottar Athletic's Ricky Hewitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafet Nesip in the 98th minute of play. There was no doubt that JEMBer UTara were the better team. JEMBer UTara's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
