Winter is coming
Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Beppe Faiella started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Comunardo Marsili was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Comunardo Marsili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The supporters of Atletico Kankero booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Amos Urbani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico Kankero's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Pedroni in the 17th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Comunardo Marsili came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ernesto Ferri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Comunardo Marsili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Comunardo Marsili. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Atletico Kankero's Comunardo Marsili. Comunardo Marsili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Beppe Faiella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Atletico Kankero's Franco Carrea got a free kick in the 40th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Amos Urbani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Carrea in the 53rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Carrea in the 54th minute of the match. After 55 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe Faiella in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Kankero's goalkeeper Comunardo Marsili, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franco Carrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Carrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Atletico Kankero were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Fabiani took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ernesto Ferri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 81 minutes into the game, Atletico Kankero's Fedele Pedroni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Franco Carrea took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Comunardo Marsili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Urbani in the 90th minute of play. Atletico Kankero's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
