Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guo Ming fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Joacim First reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joacim First made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play. Joacim First showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Hans Koenig hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guo Ming recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pinhote FC's Joacim First played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joacim First quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 36th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joacim First saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joacim First. Pinhote FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Pinhote FC's Joacim First played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Guo Ming made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Siöberg came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joacim First firmly grabbed it by the left post. Joacim First made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Joacim First in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joacim First. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim First having to interfere. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim First having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pinhote FC's attentive Bart Buckinx managed to snatch the ball when Daniel Zorita made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. After 81 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Ceresso. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Siöberg in the 92nd minute of play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
