FENERBAHÇE's Elon-Reeve Muška played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter George in the 18th minute of play. Canada's Carter George was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elon-Reeve Muška in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 21st minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elon-Reeve Muška saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Mccarthy made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jan Dixon however managed to control. Elon-Reeve Muška made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter George in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Canada booed when FENERBAHÇE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anıl Zaik didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quinito Merodo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 57 played minutes FENERBAHÇE got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Geromel. Canada made a substitution. Filip Edwards replaced Koby Wright. Pedrinho Geromel kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 60 minutes FENERBAHÇE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jan Dixon who took care of the corner kick. Jax Williamson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Ege Kerimhan went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. FENERBAHÇE's Korkut Kırgız was substituted for Róbert Varga. Elon-Reeve Muška made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Dixon in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Canada were awarded a corner. Jan Dixon went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Alfred John drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind FENERBAHÇE's goalkeeper. If Jan Dixon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Canada's Filip Edwards in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FENERBAHÇE's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Filip Edwards's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elon-Reeve Muška was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
