With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tyrone Summerfield prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes into the match, Muñeco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Tyrone Summerfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Muñeco FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Miguel Miralles got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tyrone Summerfield quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Panama booed when Muñeco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Caitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyrone Summerfield breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Palban, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Perico came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Alguacil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Tyrone Summerfield when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Abraham Alguacil lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Tyrone Summerfield. 31 minutes into the match, Lucio Perico notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Víctor Franco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Muñeco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 36 played minutes Muñeco FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Caitano. After a rather tough play, Panama's Matthew Garrido got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Caitano in the 43rd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víctor Franco in the 48th minute of the match. Tyrone Summerfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Perico charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Perico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Muñeco FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Perico. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Hermengildo Domeka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Tyrone Summerfield. Muñeco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 83rd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Domeka came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Muñeco FC's Víctor Franco got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Isidoro Sarmiento might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tyrone Summerfield. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Sarmiento ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Lucio Perico notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Panama manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Muñeco FC to win.
