The crowd rose to their feet as Lost In Sound's Valentino Adán slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. Beremundo Alarcon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes Lost In Sound's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Valentino Adán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauricio Rienda in the 22nd minute. Beremundo Alarcon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Beremundo Alarcon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentino Adán got free with Julio Vera in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentino Adán in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lost In Sound's goalkeeper Beremundo Alarcon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentino Adán. Beremundo Alarcon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of the match. Lost In Sound's Beremundo Alarcon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beremundo Alarcon having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Valentino Adán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Rienda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Lost In Sound's Aparicio Torres got a free kick in the 78th minute. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Beremundo Alarcon could save by the left post. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute, Mauricio Rienda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Lost In Sound's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Beremundo Alarcon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lost In Sound's Beremundo Alarcon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Lost In Sound from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lost In Sound throughout the match.
