Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 陶飞瑜 having to interfere. 陶飞瑜 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 顾卫彬 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 柯诚树 made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 22ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Benito Sanz would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 傅默勇 went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 25 minutes, 吴响渊 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 【AC】骑士 and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, 麦铮帆 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, 柯诚树 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 【AC】骑士's supporters rose to their feet, but 柯诚树 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as 顾卫彬 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 柯诚树 made a kick off. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Puig succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 54th playminute. Lautaro Puig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 陶飞瑜 having to make a save. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when 【AC】骑士 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. 傅默勇 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 陶飞瑜 was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Eliseo Noboa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliseo Noboa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. With a little luck, 【AC】骑士's 陶飞瑜 got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aaron Alcocer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but 陶飞瑜 made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 80th minute of play forced 【AC】骑士's goalkeeper 陶飞瑜 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to 【AC】骑士 getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. 傅希奕 hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Axel Tasis suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in 【AC】骑士 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! 3-4 came through a penalty shot after 95 played minutes, when Costa Rica:s Lautaro Puig calmly waited for 【AC】骑士:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Costa Rica's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
