The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Dos Reis got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Türk Polis Gücü booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çakır Acunman charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 37 minutes of play, Türk Polis Gücü's Zé Dos Reis made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zé Dos Reis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Dos Reis's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute of the match Türk Polis Gücü got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yngve Lindqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Dos Reis was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Zé Dos Reis made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Dos Reis took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Dos Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Dos Reis in the 67th minute of play. Türk Polis Gücü made a substitution. Okan Buruk replaced Zaquiel Puredo. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yngve Lindqvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Türk Polis Gücü's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Yngve Lindqvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaid Cevahir went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the match, Zaid Cevahir notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 78 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. After 81 minutes of play, Türk Polis Gücü's Zaid Cevahir made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
