Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anier Guifre took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. After 4 minutes, Rosario Polledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Escualido FC and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rosario Polledo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 11th minute of play forced Real Escualido FC's goalkeeper Rozarius Sanjurjo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. Real Escualido FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Real Escualido FC's Casado Ozollo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rozarius Sanjurjo having to interfere. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Rozarius Sanjurjo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. After having played for 23 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Sanchez scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Real Escualido FC's Rozarius Sanjurjo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Real Escualido FC from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute Joaquin Sanchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rozarius Sanjurjo came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Axel Tasis. But to his dismay, Axel Tasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Cămărășan in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Sanchez in the 39th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Anier Guifre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Quinito Ovejas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Escualido FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Escualido FC! Rozarius Sanjurjo had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Tasis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Eliseo Noboa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Escualido FC's Rozarius Sanjurjo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 55 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Rozarius Sanjurjo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Real Escualido FC's Quinito Ovejas got a free kick in the 67th minute. Corneliu Cămărășan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. After 71 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. After 76 minutes of play, Real Escualido FC's Anier Guifre made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Sanchez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anier Guifre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Sanchez in the 90th minute of play. Cresencio Lujarra was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, one of Real Escualido FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Costa Rica a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Axel Tasis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Real Escualido FC's Rozarius Sanjurjo. 2-2.
