Dagoberto Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 32nd minute of the match. Dagoberto Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dagoberto Zonta. Dagoberto Zonta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1.

The wind increased when Paulo Baldaia made the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Baldaia went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Dagoberto Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Paulo Baldaia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3.
