Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sven-Oskar Carlsson in the 2 minute of the game. Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Wilhelm Galle made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. After 14 minutes Kind of Blue's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Peru's Alonso Berganza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilhelm Galle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller. But to his dismay, Sebastian Käller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kind of Blue's Anastasios Pallini was substituted for Joel Gaxan. Milagros Fraga struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Wilhelm Galle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Wilhelm Galle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 38th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Käller in the 39th minute of play. Kind of Blue were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joacim Hansson took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Joacim Hansson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wilhelm Galle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Sebastian Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Käller in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Käller made a kick off. A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Emmanuel Reyes with Milagros Fraga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 56 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilhelm Galle. Kind of Blue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Wilhelm Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Sebastian Käller took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Rolando Noboa to make any attempt to save it. Kind of Blue's Östen Högman was substituted for Zhuo Ke Le. Epifanio Aznar kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Kind of Blue made a substitution. Jonny Lagerberg replaced Anastasios Pallini. In the 73rd match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Aznar to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Sebastian Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kind of Blue's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Käller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Kind of Blue's Joacim Hansson got a free kick in the 90th minute. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. A collision led to Kind of Blue getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Joacim Hansson hit a great ball. Wilhelm Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kind of Blue walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
