Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iñaki Puig kicked off to start the match. Honorato Pedraza hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Troy Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Troy Kennedy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Matthew Dobale fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rayo Tharkad's protests and gave Matthew Dobale a yellow card for diving instead. Matthew Dobale kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Harvey Doyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iñaki Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rayo Tharkad's goalkeeper Gaizkine Jauregui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Manu Santiago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Olano during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Inocencio Olano kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Stanley Wallace received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaizkine Jauregui came out and tried to block the shot, but Stanley Wallace slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 39th minute. Inocencio Olano lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rayo Tharkad fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Davies to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rayo Tharkad's Nestor Pareja got a free kick in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Iñaki Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Iñaki Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iñaki Puig in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Xicu Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayo Tharkad's supporters rose to their feet, but Xicu Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Manu Santiago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Manu Santiago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Iñaki Puig sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Kennedy to maneuver through the defense. Matthew Dobale struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rayo Tharkad. When Kyle Davies came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Curacao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyle Davies couldn't finish the play. Curacao's Kyle Davies got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stanley Wallace fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaizkine Jauregui having to interfere. Rayo Tharkad's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Curacao had won, even though Rayo Tharkad had held more of the ball.
