An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 11th minute of play forced Harkujärve JK's goalkeeper Odin Son to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Bastian Schweinsteiger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harkujärve JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bastian Schweinsteiger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastian Schweinsteiger in the 20th minute of the match. Harkujärve JK's Odin Son proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Harkujärve JK from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Eimar Kraut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Eimar Kraut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eimar Kraut in the 30th minute of the match. Eimar Kraut scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Taavet Vest struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harkujärve JK. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eimar Kraut in the 37th minute of play. Cassius Byrne scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Odin Son, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Waldemar Zalipski hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taavet Vest's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Waldemar Zalipski was slow to take the kick. During this time Harkujärve JK's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Waldemar Zalipski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bastian Schweinsteiger in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Eimar Kraut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. In the 69th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odin Son saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 69th minute of play forced Harkujärve JK's goalkeeper Odin Son to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Zach Harrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Zalipski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. The supporters of Harkujärve JK booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam Campbell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Odin Son showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. USA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
