Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremias Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 6th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Mastache to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Carballar in the 9th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Tales De Mileto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Bierhoff. Oliver Bierhoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Bierhoff in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oliver Bierhoff took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Oliver Bierhoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Jeremias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, ADM Taquaras's Oliver Bierhoff ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 27thth minute of the game Denílson Tepedino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Denílson Tepedino sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. After some careless play in the ADM Taquaras defense, Kevin Mastache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Moreno. The ADM Taquaras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Moreno should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. At last the ball reached Luis Cazalla at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of ADM Taquaras. 3-4. ADM Taquaras's Áron Bódog was substituted for Oliver Bierhoff. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 3-4 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Áron Bódog was the one to do the kick off. Jeremias Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Denílson Tepedino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Denílson Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Antonio Indiano hit a great ball. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Moreno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save ADM Taquaras from getting a goal against them. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Jeremias Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Tafalla in the 72nd minute. 72 minutes into the game, Orlando Tafalla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeremias Moreno. Orlando Tafalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Jeremias Moreno in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the game, Samuel Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ADM Taquaras the free kick. After 93 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Navarro. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Malcolm Westerberg in the 96th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Pedro Manzanares's left hand side. The Colombia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colombia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
