Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Txatxu in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Txatxu's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Min Son sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeronimo Txatxu in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ramon Menezes got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 30th match minute before Jonathan Ferrant had time to react. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Jeronimo Txatxu took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Ramon Menezes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeronimo Txatxu made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 51st minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Menezes in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Xv de Piracicaba were awarded a corner. Meng Jie Xing went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 56thth minute of the game Jeronimo Txatxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Xv de Piracicaba's Sebastian Sandberg got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastian Sandberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeronimo Txatxu went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Meng Jie Xing hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Alfredo Rocchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Jeronimo Txatxu sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After 69 played minutes Xv de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Benedykt Saint. In the 71st minute, Min Son ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 79th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Menezes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute of the match Xv de Piracicaba got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Meng Jie Xing ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 83rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Xv de Piracicaba's Sebastian Sandberg got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Txatxu in the 90th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Meng Jie Xing during the 94th minute.
