Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victor Chan started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes had been played when some careless play by Redbourn AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiz Teo having to interfere. After 7 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afiz Teo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play forced Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Afiz Teo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Danial Koh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After 21 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afiz Teo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute of the match Redbourn AFC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Shafiq Chien-Kwan ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jonathan Soon heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 32 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Afiz Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hidayat Peng came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Redbourn AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hidayat Peng couldn't finish the play. After 35 minutes, Ronn Yi-Sheng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Redbourn AFC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Redbourn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronn Yi-Sheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. Victor Chan struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redbourn AFC. When Hidayat Peng came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Redbourn AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hidayat Peng couldn't finish the play. After having played for 47 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Soon, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afiz Teo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 minutes Redbourn AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Afiz Teo quite easily take care of the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Afiz Teo came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 69th minute. A collision led to Redbourn AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ronn Yi-Sheng hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Farhan Ching was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redbourn AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Redbourn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farhan Ching to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Afiz Teo however easily saved by the left post. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Soon in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Hidayat Peng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Hidayat Peng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hidayat Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Afiz Teo. That made the score 0-4 after 89 minutes of play. In the 92nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
