Vincente Abella made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocendo Abar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes Internacional's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. After 25 played minutes Internacional got a freekick which was hit by Manuelo Abarca. In the 27th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gelacio Abechuco made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Manuelo Abarca. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Manuelo Abarca with Gelacio Abechuco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Luz Tejedor succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 35th playminute. In the 38th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vincente Abella saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 38 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vincente Abella. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Gelacio Abechuco made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 46 minutes into the match, Milagros Fraga notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Internacional's Vincente Abella. Vincente Abella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Internacional's goalkeeper Vincente Abella, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Internacional's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vincente Abella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincente Abella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 67th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Internacional got a freekick which was hit by Jerico Abastas. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. With an all-out effort, Internacional's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xelo Abellaneda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. There was no doubt that Peru were the better team. Peru's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
