Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alexander Cheetham hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şükür Hagi in the 15th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Leicester Lions were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastien Clifford took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sebastien Clifford got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Şükür Hagi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Sebastien Clifford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leicester Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastien Clifford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 28th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şükür Hagi made a kick off.
