Algot Myr was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Murillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Gustafsson came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Peru's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Gustafsson in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 31st minute of play forced Hockeysnubbarnas BK's goalkeeper Algot Myr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksander Gustafsson in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Inko Colillas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inko Colillas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inko Colillas to make the kick off. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Erik Ek's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Noboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Peru walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
