Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muni Forró. Muni Forró could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The corner ended in Astor Senio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. In the 18th minute of the match Caricancha got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Astor Senio ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Muni Forró tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 25 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Astor Senio who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Astor Senio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Amado Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caricancha's Amado Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play. Muni Forrós short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Muni Forró in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Muni Forró came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caricancha's attentive Victor Giraldo managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. After 46 played minutes Caricancha got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Bermudez. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, one of Caricancha:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caricancha. In the 61st minute, Muni Forró ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Muni Forró stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Muni Forró tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Astor Senio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Caricancha's corner Astor Senio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muni Forró in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Caricancha's Cosmas Simbolon got a free kick in the 87th minute. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Astor Senio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caricancha's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
