Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Tito Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 9th minute. A hard shot 11 in the game by Casimiro Cordarell from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Cordarell got free with Julio Vera in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tito Chayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustín Saelices's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. If Casimiro Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Luis Andino got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 29 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Casimiro Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Cordarell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tito Chayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tito Chayo. Nippur de Lagash 2's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tito Chayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Nippur de Lagash 2's Reynaldo De Mitri got a free kick in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Casimiro Cordarell kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Tito Chayo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixto Ariando hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Cordarell came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Cordarell in the 74th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Cordarell in the 79th minute of play. Tito Chayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute. A collision led to Nippur de Lagash 2 getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Hernan Lehen hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casimiro Cordarell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tito Chayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nippur de Lagash 2's Marcelino Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Cordarell in the 96th minute of play.
