Alexandro Gavilanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tansel Aydemir in the 11th minute of the match. ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustaw Bochynski took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Tansel Aydemir heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tansel Aydemir in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandro Gavilanes. The ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandro Gavilanes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play forced ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's goalkeeper Alexandro Gavilanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Alexandro Gavilanes in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandro Gavilanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tansel Aydemir struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24. ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's Johnny Cabeleira was substituted for Paulo Bezerra. A collision led to ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Luís Gustavo Perez hit a great ball. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Toninho Vander charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toninho Vander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th match minute, ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Vander to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Felix Montenegro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Johnny Cabeleira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's Alexandro Gavilanes got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
