Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in union española s.a.'s zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Enoch came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the game, Stig Malmgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. Stig Malmgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Malmgren in the 14th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Maximiliano Escribano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but union española s.a.'s Enrique Enoch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, union española s.a.'s Stig Malmgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Stig Malmgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by union española s.a.'s Stig Malmgren. But to his dismay, Stig Malmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 34 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig Malmgren. In the 34th play minute Stig Malmgren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. 4-0. Uruguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Stig Malmgren scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Gayoso, making the score, 5-0. After 44 played minutes union española s.a. got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Magalhaes. After a rather tough play, union española s.a.'s Stig Malmgren got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig Malmgren's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Enrique Enoch made a huge save. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Malmgren in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Stig Malmgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig Malmgren went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Adelino Nordon kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to union española s.a. getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Aristeo Potts hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, union española s.a.'s Stig Malmgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After 72 minutes of play, union española s.a.'s Stig Malmgren made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicens Espina during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, union española s.a.'s Vicens Espina got a free kick in the 77th minute. Francisco Secos short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Enrique Enoch to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 78 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Enrique Enoch managed to make a qualified save. union española s.a.'s players were relieved. In the 82nd minute, Stig Malmgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. In the 89th minute Stig Malmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Stig Malmgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for union española s.a..
