Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Builder Sofia's Sten Askestät started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when FC Builder Sofia's Yulian Ivanov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 6th minute FC Builder Sofia were awarded a corner. Geraldo Souza went to the cornerflag to take it. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Askestät in the 8th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sten Askestät's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Askestät, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Geraldo Souza made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Yulian Ivanovs short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Pedro Manzanares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stamen Kapitanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Sten Askestät shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Builder Sofia defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stamen Kapitanov. The FC Builder Sofia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stamen Kapitanov should have stopped the shot. Thomas Grelsson hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stamen Kapitanov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Luis Cazalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, FC Builder Sofia's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Stamen Kapitanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 45th minute. Stamen Kapitanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 58th minute of play forced FC Builder Sofia's goalkeeper Stamen Kapitanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stamen Kapitanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 64th minute of play. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. 72 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Souza came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, FC Builder Sofia's Geraldo Souza made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kevin Mastache's late challenge caught a FC Builder Sofia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Mastache helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Builder Sofia booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Builder Sofia's Stamen Kapitanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 80th minute of play. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Mastache in the 81st minute. The corner led Colombia's Ignacio Mastache to fire away a dangerous shot which Stamen Kapitanov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Souza came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Yulian Ivanov made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. FC Builder Sofia were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geraldo Souza took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Geraldo Souza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Yulian Ivanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, FC Builder Sofia's Yulian Ivanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
