The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Asım Arif Revnak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maxime Maeijnaerts was slow to take the kick. During this time Boğazova's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Boğazova's corner Delmiro Ostots fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. Erenay Yaltırak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erenay Yaltırak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Asım Arif Revnak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asım Arif Revnak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to Boğazova's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Luz Tejedor tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Erenay Yaltırak seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 83rd minute, Boğazova's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Milagros Fraga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Asım Arif Revnak came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erenay Yaltırak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 88th minute of play. Rafael Gallo scored 0-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erenay Yaltırak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Boğazova's Erenay Yaltırak got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when Boğazova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aesem Al Azmi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Boğazova fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
