An unexpectedly hard shot by Jérémy Doku in the 4th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jérémy Doku in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 16 minutes into the match, Kieth Hacke notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the match, Jérémy Doku dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. The long shot by Stephan Vanneste in the 31st minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 35 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Kieth Hacke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Mattheo Smeulders's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Ulan Bator Football Club's Mattheo Smeulders got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattheo Smeulders in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Kieth Hacke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute Jérémy Doku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jérémy Doku in the 60th minute of the match. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Ulan Bator Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kieth Hacke went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Vanneste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Jérémy Doku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jérémy Doku came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulan Bator Football Club made a substitution. Toon Teunens replaced Jérémy Doku. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stephan Vanneste was slow to take the kick. During this time Ulan Bator Football Club's players had a chance to rest. If Toon Teunens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephan Vanneste hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dany-Adams Van Deyck during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Ulan Bator Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dany-Adams Van Deyck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulan Bator Football Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
