After having played for 19 minutes, Hortêncio Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nada Pontual F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hortêncio Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Vander in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Emilio Casomiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Hortêncio Vander sent off a good shot on target. Pascual Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hortêncio Vander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. Nada Pontual F.C's Sam Marcos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 40th minute of play. Hortêncio Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Edgar Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nada Pontual F.C's Macit Buyrukalp was substituted for Hortêncio Vander. A collision led to Nada Pontual F.C getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Edgar Trigo hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With a little luck, Nada Pontual F.C's Sam Marcos got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Bernabe Gomez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nada Pontual F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. In the 61st minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Marcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Axel Montenegro from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Sam Marcos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Kevin Mastache took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sam Marcos. Sam Marcos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 74th minute of play forced Nada Pontual F.C's goalkeeper Sam Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
