Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cha Fe FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Pacho came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimeno Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Cha Fe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Abar to maneuver through the defense. Elvio Pacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Pacho. Elvio Pacho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play forced Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cha Fe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Abar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Pacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Anibal Abar hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Pacho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Elvio Pacho. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Cha Fe FC from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavi Iniesta in the 77th minute of play. Elvio Pacho made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Elvio Pacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of the match. When Teobaldo Phelipe came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Cha Fe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Phelipe couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Elvio Pacho made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Elvio Pacho in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 94th minute of play forced Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
