Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rohan Watson in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Zeledon Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Oliviero kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rohan Watson in the 15th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Luka Harris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Eyague was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. A collision led to AC LeX Luthor getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mario Yepes hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Rohan Watson came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter George in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Otto Tenno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 40th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 42 minutes on the clock, Julian Boni commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 42nd minute, Julian Boni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Carter George managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canada's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter George was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulgencio Eyague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Romeo Sanduru fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC LeX Luthor's protests and gave Romeo Sanduru a yellow card for diving instead. Romeo Sanduru kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Koby Wright made the kick off in the second half. Otto Tenno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jax Williamson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Canada made a substitution. Filip Edwards replaced Koby Wright. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Karl-Axel Kielstedt replaced Zeledon Savion. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Edwards in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Matias Porfiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk was substituted for Isidro Oliviero. Canada's Theo Burton was substituted for Rohan Watson. The supporters of Canada booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save AC LeX Luthor from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute Alvaro Errando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes Canada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Yepes who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Canada's goalie and right to Matias Porfiro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Canada's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Alvaro Errando struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jax Williamson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC LeX Luthor. Thanks to some nice moves Luka Harris could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Fulgencio Eyague however easily saved by the left post. In the 92nd match minute, Canada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nate Mills to maneuver through the defense. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Errando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
