Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Suat Kaya got the match started through his kick off. Genk's Tony Mampaerts quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Felix Garrido, made in the 4th minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 6th minute of play forced Genk's goalkeeper Jannes Van Leempoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Genk's Suat Kaya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jannes Van Leempoel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Vergil Rupov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genk's Jannes Van Leempoel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Genk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chile's Xavier Figueroa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jannes Van Leempoel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Paris in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Suat Kaya dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego, 1-0. Thiago Pliego was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Suat Kaya capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Suat Kaya really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Genk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Chile's corner Mariano Lacasa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jannes Van Leempoel quite easily take care of the ball. If Suat Kaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Genk's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Jannes Van Leempoel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Thomas-Jan Van de Weijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genk's Segundo Ubendu was substituted for Ariel Paris. A collision led to Genk getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Thomas-Jan Van de Weijer hit a great ball. When Alexander Klemensson fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Genk's protests and gave Alexander Klemensson a yellow card for diving instead. Orlando Casaus might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jannes Van Leempoel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Casaus ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 62 in the game by Mariano Lacasa from a close distance when the talented Jannes Van Leempoel managed to make a qualified save. Genk's players were relieved. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Mariano Lacasa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jannes Van Leempoel. The goal made the score 2-1. Jannes Van Leempoel made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute Suat Kaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79thth minute of the game Suat Kaya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Suat Kaya in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vergil Rupov, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Genk were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 邵泉林 took the corner. 邵泉林 made a great header on Genk's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. Genk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Garrido in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Genk's Tony Mampaerts. 95 minutes into the match, Genk's goalkeeper Jannes Van Leempoel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
