Cosme Francesco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, MDQ Raptors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Cosme Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Francesco was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Järvenperä in the 30th minute of play. Cosme Francesco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Ursino in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to MDQ Raptors FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Abelardo Rocendo hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cosme Francesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Adrio in the 72nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Ursino in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute of the match. MDQ Raptors FC's Cosme Francesco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save MDQ Raptors FC from getting a goal against them. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after MDQ Raptors FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Järvenperä, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
